Mindset

The underlying assumptions and beliefs we bring to a situation

During a recent team meeting at work, we talked about mindset and its impact on success. I liked the above description. It struck a chord in me.

Our mindest matters not just at work but life in general. Often the preconceptions, assumptions and beliefs, in short the mindset, comes in the way of us being successful, happy, and able to get along with others.

An interesting thing about mindset is that while others can help, it is us that are primarily responsible for having the right mindset. Our willingness to examine our mindset and adjust it appropriately has a huge bearing on how we end up feeling and what we are able to achieve.
